Our nearest and dearest: navigating life together
Welcome to a space dedicated to the people who shape our lives. Here I share the insights I've received from friends and family that along the way, have helped shape who I am today. Some are profound, some not so much, but all have their place.
'Some friends are for life, some for a season and some are only for right now.' - my oldest friend as we were discussing how friendships change as we do.
'You matter.' - thankfully, many people close to me.
"Are you sad mum? Just don't be anymore." - my oldest daughter, at her most wise aged 4.
'"I'm as old as my tongue, a little older than my teeth." - my dear nan when avoiding the question of how old she was!
A grateful reader
