I don't know how to tie a tie.

That's it, that's the piece. 

I don't know how to, I have no need to tie a tie. At school we wore polo shirts so no ties, in no point in ny nearly 40 years of life have I needed the need to wear a tie and yet I find myself curious. Find myself thinking I would be a different person if I were the kind of person that could tie a tie. 

Actually, we could extend out to the entire knotting encyclopedia (is that the right word?), I can tie my shoes and no more. I tried to teach my eldest daughter, she mentioned bunny ears and my head was gone. 

It must be a resourcefullness association, thinking I could get my kids out of a survivor situation if I knew how to tie a Windsor knot (only name I know).

Despite this, I have previously watched many YouTube videos and am no further forward so we might forever need to live in the unknown.
